The committee has not confirmed all events to date and we are still welcoming suggestions from our fellow classmates - so feel free to send in ideas to anyone on the committee.
Confirmed events include:
Friday, 10/3
Pre-game gathering in the Hospitality Room at the Hampton Inn at 5 p.m. before we leave for the LHS football game. Special rates for travelers to our Reunion are being offered by the Hampton Inn - see "Travelers" page.
Attendance at the LHS-San Ramon High football game at LHS. We are to meet in "Cowboy Alley" at 7 p.m. Will have seating reserved for the Class of '68 and will be introduced as a group at half time. Free Admission to 1968 Alumni and guest.
Saturday, 10/4:
Downtown Livermore walking tour to begin at 10 a.m. This will be of special interest to those of you who haven't seen First Street since the many revitalization efforts and the construction of many new buildings.
Catered dinner party at the Veteran's Hall Saturday evening beginning at 6 p.m.
Under consideration are:
Wine tasting at a downtown venue (or 2).
A special viewing of a 20 minute documentary of the City of Livermore - possibly at the old Vine.
Possibly golf at the Municipal course or Poppy Ridge....depend$$$$$.
Gatherings at the new Blacksmith Square (behind Carol Jean's Dance Studio) or in Carnegie Park (the old Library building).
Possible late night post-dinner gatherings at private residences.
A late night open house at Foster Freeze private to our group and guests.....fries, burgers and shakes with all fat removed and flavor remaining of course!
