The Class of '68 is hosting a pre-game gathering in the Hospitality Room at the Hampton Inn, 2850 Constitution Drive, Livermore.

Wine, soda, light snacks and appetizers will be served.

We're looking forward to seeing you all there before we head out to good old LHS for the Homecoming game!!

Attendees will gather at the entry doors to the Boys Gym between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. to obtain passes into the game.  Allow time for parking in advance as this is the Homecoming game and attendance will be higher than usual.

The Class of '68 will enjoy reserved seating to the LEFT of the PRESS BOX as you face the bleachers.  We "oldtimers" can expect to be introduced as a group at half-time.

Please join our classmates and guests for a walking tour of rejuvenated Downtown Livermore.  We will be guided, entertained and informed by Rachel Snedecor of the Livermore Downtown Association.  She will be giving us a little history and a lot of information on the renovation of our hometown.

Please meet at the water fountain park at the base of the flagpole between 9:30 and 9:45 a.m.  The actual tour will take about an hour and a half between 10 and 11:30 a.m.

Susenance while walking is available at Peet's, Starbucks and Panama Bay coffee shops, both within visual proximity to the flagpole and at Robek's Juices/Smoothies across the street and down a half block at 2300 First Street.

Dress casually and comfortably...especially where shoes are concerned....must save those feet for dancin' later that night.

Event that follows (picnic) will be at Carnegie Park (old library) at Noon.

For those who would like to gather and visit after the walking tour and before the reunion dinner, the Committee suggests meeting some of us and other classmates at Carnegie Park (the old library) at Noon on Saturday.  Cold water and sodas will be supplied.

Please bring your own lunch or pick up something on your way or order from one of the many nearby downtown eateries...Tommie's Deli and Sandwich shop at 2152 Second Street is suggested and Weinerschnitzel is STILL at the corner of South Livermore Avenue and Third Streets.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. for our Reunion Dinner in the Veteran's Hall at 522 South "L" Street.  Dress is Office Casual to Semi-Formal/Cocktail Attire.  We have a wide variety of activities planned for this special evening.  

A catered meal accompanied by Wente Wines will be enjoyed as we listen to live piano music and visit with friends.  

Our DJ, Chris, from Amos Productions will be on hand to supply us with Sounds from the Sixties before and after the meal and space is designated for dancing.

Be sure to check out the wall decorations of 'super enlarged' old photographs and our memorabilia corner, filled with lots of wonderful papers, pictures and items from our years at LHS.

Local wine will be provided with our meal and drink tickets will be available to redeem at the no-host bar.

We are required to vacate at 10:30 p.m. and the Class of '68 has been invited by Luis Orozco and his family to continue partying at "Casa Orozco" within short walking distance from Vet's Hall at 325 South "L" Street, corner of South L and Third Streets.

The lovely Casa Orozco Restaurant is just 2 blocks north of the Veterans Hall - an easy walk or stride from our Reunion Dinner gathering!
