Comments: Sad news indeed. What a great thing it was that Vinny brought Marie by to the Saturday picnic. The delight to see her and the honor of paying her personal respects. Thanks Vinny. Of course for her we were just one of the many classes that passed by, but for us, I think,  a tough class led with gentleness and all the forbearance possible. In retrospect, if she could introduce Shakespeare to 15 year olds by day and actively raise the Salemme boys by morning and night,  she must have been quite a woman (sorry Vinny and Brian!). She was also special, as was the recently deceased Joe Humphrey, in that she was a parent of one of us.

Mrs. Crowley, our librarian, as I remember her, was pretty much business within those confines. Butâ?¦ she once stepped out of that bound to personally encourage me to actively pursue the sport of tennis. I didn't, but I was flattered by her remarks and it did give me a boost of confidence and self-esteem. It touched me and today I do look for opportunities to offer similar encouragement. I recall her son being a year or two younger and a Cowboy as well.

God bless them all and my sympathy to the extended families.

I regret I will not be able to attend the 40th Reunion for class of '68 this
month.  I am in Mission Prep for my re-deployment back to Afghanistan and
will not return until AUG 09.  I do appreciate the invitation but I am
surprised anyone from Livermore was able to track me down since I left back
in 1975, half the time I don't even know where I am!  Please tell those who
knew me, and would admit it, I said hello and perhaps after I return I'll
make a trip back home and maybe I'll will bump into a couple of "old
goats"(boy sometimes I believe I'm too damn old for this type work).  I hope
the reunion has a full attendance and the festivities are full of fun.  Have
beer or two for me and pay tribute to all the soldiers who are serving
America.  Your classmate Keith (correct spelling and grammer are optional).

Greetings "Underclassmates"-

Although I was not "one of you" in age (class of '67)
I had a great time with alot of you.  You know who you are!  I was able to hook up with John Nunes
when I was in Livermore for my 40th reunion in Sept.
I'd love to come down and see the rest of you.  Be well!!
