SERIOUS UPDATE SEPTEMBER 9TH!!!

You can either be right, or you can be happy.  I keep going back and forth about which I want more, but lately I'm tilting toward being happy.

I dropped out of UC Santa Cruz after two years (love those hippie days).  I finally finished my degree in 2003 here at NAU.  Okay, who among you's dad was the math teacher? Sarah somebody? I hated math then, but when I got back to college I found that I loved it. 

I'm now able to help my 16-year-old daughter (yes, 16) with her algebra homework.  I've been married for 16 years.  (Think what you want, but the kid was planned.)  My husband Ray is a minor celebrity because of his local trail guides. (Look up "Cosmic Ray" and "Fat Tire Tales and Trails".)  We love Flagstaff, even after 30 years and population growth from 29K to 65K and hard-to-find work.

I hope to get back to bicycling when my daughter clears out.  (Waaaah!)  Still love music and singing.  Somehow I ended up teaching middle-schoolers on Sundays at a Unity church.  (Pity me.)  Spiritual exploration and meditation are more and more important.

I won't make it to this year's reunion, alas.  It's GREAT to see all these pictures and notes.  Have a wonderful time!
