UPDATE 2/4/09
I am most delighted to report the sale of my business, Prairie Coach Trailways, two weeks ago. This means that I am "officially" retired, although I will be hanging around the office for a few hours each week getting the new owners oriented to their new life-consuming venture. My late husband, Bill (pictured left), and I started the business 10 years ago, and I don't think I had 10 weekends off in 10 years, so this comes as a most welcome relief to me.

Right now the only plans I have are to venture to Victoria, BC, in June for a week-long alpha wave brain tuneup. Hey, don't laugh, it's for real - read all about it in Jim Hardt's book The Art of Smart Thinking - it's fabulous! I'm hoping to come back creatively charged, spiritually centered, and motivated to write a book. We'll see.

Reagan, our golden retriever, is also enjoying his retirement, but he misses the treats from the UPS deliveryman.  Blessings to all!

I retired as a Division Director after working 30 years for the Alameda County Social Services Agency.  My husband Howard and I have 2 great kids, both graduating this year, one from high school and one from college.  Yes, I started late.  I'm sure they've kept me young (that and the hair dye).  Too bad there's not enough time for any plastic surgery to heal before the reunion.  Oh well, I don't have that kind of money anyway.  See you in October!

have lived in NZ for 12 years and am a citizen of both countries as of about 2 years ago. Still run a lot, cycle even more, and kayak as much as i can. Ocean swimming and fishing. Married to Pammy for 30 years (nearly 31 now). Work managing Vogelsang High Sierra Camp in the US summers to escape NZ winters, so i miss winters altogether. Retired ages ago to pursue having fun, and it is definitely a full on job...i can barely keep up with myself.
