Hey there - it really doesn't seem like 40 years, but here we are!  I haven't strayed TOO far from the old homestead.  Livermore, Hayward, San Lorenzo, San Leandro, Oakland, Newark, and now Antioch (and I said I would NEVER live in a small town again...).

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible in October - the BEST time of year.

I've been married for 38 years and I spent most of that time raising kids and serving in various youth organizations including the Cub Scouts, where I've been a volunteer for most of the past 30 years. We moved around to 7 states from Oregon to New Jersey, and finally settled in Utah where we have been for 27 years. With spouses and grandchildren, we now have 19 in our family and I spend as much time as possible with the grandchildren. It would be fun to see everyone, but unfortunately I won't be able to come to the reunion.

I am finally registering.  The last 40 years have passed extremely fast for me.  I was only gone from Livermore for one year right after I was married but have been here the rest of the time.
I have one daughter who lives in Davis.  It has been fun working with the committee and renewing old friendships. They are just as much fun as they were in high school.  It will be fun to see those of you who will be coming.  Hope you can make it!

Wow --  40 years!!  What a ride so far and it is still going on.  Much has happened and I must assume there is much more to come.  

What can I say -- my life has been a roller coaster of ups and downs --  relationships, career, and financially.  Seems someone wanted me to experience a lot up close & personally.  My dad still lives in Livermore, so I am there often visiting. 

I have never had any children of my own, but because of the work I have done I seem to work with everyone else's children.  Currently I am teaching the moderate to very severely disabled students (grades 9 to 12) at Enterprise High School (Home of the Hornets) and I love it!!  Not only does it keep me young, but on my toes.  I have a great teams of aides (4) and am now starting my 6th year here -- very much back into the rah, rah of high school spirit.  

I feel very behind most of my classmates as I am not looking forward to retiring for at least another 9 to 10 years.  Hope my body holds up.

I can think of no better way to spend a weekend than becoming reacquainted with old friends.

I'm finally living in the West again (I should have never have moved east.)  Unfortunately, my crew base is Charlotte, NC.  

My kids, Nic 17, and Chloe 14, are here in Walla Walla (one of the top reasons for a coast-to-coast commute).

In the past decade, I've become single again, taken a two year leave of absence from flying, moved from Indianapolis to Walla Walla, WA, broken a 25-year adrenaline sport addiction, and entered into a successful shared-parenting agreement .

To any of you who remember my Mom (of demanding English class fame), she is turning 87 years in October and is enduring alzheimer's disease.  She still lives at home where Dad has cared for her for several years.  They are both in good physical health.  With that in mind, count me "in" for the next 4 or 5 reunions as well.

All this re-union stuff makes me feel like 18 yrs old again! Funny how awakening some dormant memories has a visceral effect.
Would never have predicted that I live in the Gulch still, but its turned out to be a good well rounded location. Would never have predicted that I would work at the Lab, but its turned out to be a good hiding spot from real work.
My biggest current joys are my darling wife, kids, and grandkids. Spare time is filled with playing on an old guys water polo team, bicycle riding, and wishing for afternoon naps.

It will be fun to see people I grew up with.   I still get together with three girlfriends from high school; Becky, Janice and Judy and we take an annual vacation.
I just painted a mural of an ocean scene and work a couple days a week doing the marketing for a real estate firm.  
Someone said we don't grow old we become old by not growing.
