It seems like only yesterday that Ms. Keeler was bugging me to turn in my English paper, Frau Beery was correcting my German pronunciation of "Ich bin ein gescheit mensch", and Coach McCormick was barking at me to quit playing grab-fanny and shimmy up that rope in PE. Well, I find that I have needed all those skills after all, although I wish Ms. Keeler would quit asking for that late paper.

I find that I need to speak English all the time and my skills at turning papers in late are now legend. I also spent 3 years in Germany as a serviceman, and ended up in a German/American unit where I spoke German every day. And I am sure I've needed to climb a rope sometime in the last 40 years.

I am happily married to the same pretty girl for the last 35 years, have got 4 kids (one in Tokyo, one in Salt Lake City, one in Sacramento and one just down the hall in bedroom number 2 ... she's moved back 4 times. I've got two grandbabies, one in Tokyo and one just down the hall in bedroom number 3.

I've been making the commute to Livermore for the past 30 years and hope I can continue to control the urge to retire for at least a few more.

I'd include a photo of myself but for some reason an old guy jumps in front of me whenever I have my picture taken so one can never see the real me. Oh well, you can see the real me at the reunion ... just don't try to take my picture.

What a GREAT weekend!  The evening at Jerry's was outstanding, wonderful food, terrific company, and memories from a lifetime ago.  It was so fun to see the St. Mike's gang and other assorted friends from the past.    
The Livermore High reunion was also amazing.  I can't believe it was over so fast.  It was super to see everyone and try to catch up with as many as possible.  Thanks to all who had a hand in planning both reunions, you  did a fabulous job!  I can't wait for the next ones.

40 years, 3 careers and I'm still working.  18 years at Intel.. until the Livermore fab closed.  Then thought it would be fun to help folks plan their vacations, so went to travel school.  No money in vacations, so the company I work for focuses on corporate travel.  But don't call me for a flight...  can help if you need your passport renewed or a visa for China..  I manage Visa/Passport department.  Who knew there are so many countries in the world?????

Although I graduated in 1967, I actually went through K-11 with the class of 1968.  I have fond memories of school days with you at East Avenue, Fifth Street and LHS.

I started painting mandalas as a hobby about the time my kids finished college, and travel to beautiful places to paint once or twice each year (check out my website).  My company has a generous time off policy, and I'm working a few more years.  

My son's a prototype engineer in the private sector, and my daughter's in physical therapist grad school.  Friends and family are precious.  Life is good.
